Scrubs

Welcome to the world of JD, Perry Cox, Turk, Elliot Reed, Carla, Bob Kelso and The Janitor !!!
I recently started viewing this serial and was immediatley hooked on it. To give a background to the unknowns, Scrub is a TV serial based on Medical Interns and their experiences at a Hospital named Sacred Heart.
The characters are crazy, probably that is why I like them so much. Each one has his/her own idiosyncracy. JD goes into a trance and imagines things, Elliot is overwhelmed most of the times, Perry Cox is forever angry, Bob Kelso is this no-brainer, notorious yet sensitive in his own way Head of the Medical Staff, Janitor is this weirdo who is after JD's life and whose ultimate aim in his own life seems to be torturing JD.
I was thinking since a long time as to why I like this serial so much. I drive home early to reach in time to watch it, no cooking when it is going on, no phone calls entertained. It is then I realized JD is the perfect person for me and I would readily trade places with him:
I always wanted a friend like Turk who is with me tooth and nail, my heart melted away when in one of the episodes JD is distressed and Turk tries to reason out with him, JD says, "okay so go on even you make fun of it, even you say what everyone is saying", and Turk says, "hey man, I am your best friend, I will say whatever you want me to say". Even Turk's wife Carla knows how important their friendship is when she is seen telling her daughter," (pointing to JD), this is the man you will have to fight with for your father's love".
I always wanted a mentor who is right, who knows he is right and wont stop doing things which are right. This is Perry Cox, JD's whacky mentor. He chides JD when he does wrong, ridicules him right left and center, yet teaches him to the best of his ability both moral values and technical decisions. Perry Cox is that senior who explains unselfishly, who isnt insecure and still after a long stint in his profession is still affected by his patients' condition. To add icing on the cake, there is Perry Cox's equally eccentric ex-wife and current girlfriend Jordan.
Bob Kelso - I think he is an ideal boss. He is cynical and crude and seems to be in a foul mood forever, though he does allow medical-aid to patients without insurance. He is inscrutable in his daily affairs still there is a side of him which is helpful.
Well, so my love for this serial remains...
